Upcoming Reality Shows.. Will YOU Be Watching?
Long gone are the days of great and inspiring shows and sitcoms like "The Cosby Show" and "A Different World." Today our TV's are bombarded with reality shows. Now, y'all know I'm a self proclaimed reality TV junkie so I can't really complain LOL. While some of the shows are pure foolery, we do have a few that show more than JUST drama. Check out the trailers and commercials for a few upcoming shows.
LisaRaye's show "LisaRaye, The Real McCoy" is set to air on TVOne April 7th.
Toya Carter's show "A Family Affair" airs on BET April 12th.
The Braxton's show "Braxton Family Values" airs on Wetv April 12th.
I know I'll be watching Toya and the Braxton's for sure. I'm not too certain just yet about Ms. LisaRaye. I'm gonna need to see something else before it grabs my attention. Will you be watching any of the shows?

The Five Heartbeats TWENTY Years Later!
Just the other day I was sitting at the car wash when someone put "The Five Heartbeats" DVD on. I had to apologize to the customers for singing EVERY SONG so loudly. Yes, I know EVERY song, my sister and I even sang one of them at our 6th grade graduation, LMBO. I absolutely LOVE this movie and even though today marks it's 20th anniversary, it NEVER GETS OLD!!! Global Grind interviewed some of the cast members to get their thoughts on the movie and how it has changed their lives. While reading the interview, I had to laugh at myself because for the past 20 years I thought that Micheal Wright's character's name was Eddie Kane, Jr. I'm sure most of you thought the same, but nope his character's name was Eddie King, Jr. LOL. Another Split In The Knowles Family.. Matthew Knowles No Longer Managing Beyonce!
Last year rumors spread that Matthew Knowles and Music World Entertainment were no longer managing Beyonce Knowles. Well, yesterday this was confirmed by Beyonce's publicist. Check out what Beyonce told US about the decision to part ways.
Matthew and his daughter both seem to be okay with the split. He released a statement as well in which he also mentions that he is no longer representing Tiffany Evans. "Teen Mom 2" Star Jenelle Evans Arrested
Okay... so anybody that watches MTV's "Teen Mom 2" already knows that Jenelle isn't the brightest crayon in the box, but now she is truly doing the most, SMDH. TMZ is reporting that Jenelle Evans was arrested last night for assault. Supposedly Jenelle attacked a young lady named Brittany and it was caught on camera. Check it out below.
I can just hear her mother screaming "Jenelle, you're screwing everything up." In case you're wondering what the fight was about. It was supposedly over Kieffer Delp, the guy she was dating during the show. There was a warrant out for Kieffer and the cops found and arrested him at Jenelle's house when they went to pick her up. Poor lil Jace, his mom is crazy as hell. Jenelle was released on bail and is set to return to court on April 26th. More Dish!

Chris Brown Hits 106 & Park....Apologizes For "GMA" Outburst

Y'all know I LOVE me some Wendy, but I can't say that I fully agree with her. I totally feel that the media does the most at times. Chris Brown On Good Morning America Before His Alleged Outbust
This morning there were reports that after Chris Brown's "Good Morning America" interview, he lost his cool in their studio. Robin Roberts kept questioning him about his 2009 incident with Rihanna, Chris would answer each question but redirect it to his new album (great media training, BTW). Check the video below.
Supposedly, after the interview Chris went into his dressing room and began yelling and screaming. Security was called, but by this time Chris was already storming out of the studio (shirtless), leaving behind a shattered window.
I wish he would have just put that Robin chick in her place instead of breaking the window. He handled himself extremely well up until that point. Chris, it's time to live up to your name and really be "Breezy." Stop letting people get you THAT upset. People are clearly never gonna let that situation go and are trying to make it appear that you need more anger management. IF you feel you have to break a window, go home and break your own. I'm #teambreezy and will be going to purchase the new album "F.A.M.E." I really hope it does well!

Mashonda Covers King Magazine
Hot pic.. I love to see women get back into shape after having children. It gives me hope that I'll do it too (if/when I actually have one). Who caught Love and Hip Hop last night? I was watching Rip The Runway (which was pretty good) and missed it. I did record it though and will be checking it out this evening. How was it? From the tweets, sounds like it was pretty juicy. I did a few episodes [first], then ended up doing a lot of episodes because the chemistry was perfect with me and Emily. I ended up being a recurring guest, and it worked out perfectly, because I’m on the show and people get to see me and hear my stories. But it’s not like a character that’s 100 percent there.
On Being Emily’s Support System
At the time that we shot, I was in a great place, so that’s what made the difference. I felt like that was my therapy, and that’s all I wanted to do. Anytime I’d log in to Facebook or Twitter, there would be tons of women reaching out to me, thanking me for sharing my story. Those messages gave me a lot of strength, a lot of courage. From that point on, I just wanted to help women, and Emily being a good friend of mine, it was easy for me to go on there and talk to her and be honest.

Eric Williams Visits "The Breakfast Club"
I like Eric, one thing about him... he's gone keep it real!! I honestly think that he and Jenn could have worked it out had she NOT been on BBW and had she let go of past issues. Maybe those issues weren't so much in the past and that's why she couldn't let them go. Plus, he did talk to her kind of funky. Hell I don't know, maybe it's best that they called it quits. Bill Cosby Tells Russell Simmons "Get The ---- Out My Face"
The New York Post is reporting that my Bill Cosby (my uncle in my head) had a few choice words to say to Russell Simmons during the Jackie Robinson Annual Awards Dinner. If you remember, the two had a falling out in 2009 when Mr. Cosby launched his "State of Emergency" campaign. It asked for rappers to be more aware of their lyrics and not focus on sexually explicit lyrics and violence. We all know that Russell thinks that rappers should be able to express themselves however they want. Well, since then the two have been at odds. According to The New York Post, Russell saw Mr. Cosby and wanted to apologize. However, when he approached the longtime comedian, Mr. Cosby told him "Get the [bleep] out of my face." If that is not the FUNNIEST SH*T EVER, ROFL. Oh wait, there's more, LMBO!! Simmons also stated that Cosby "walked by me and bumped me with his shoulder as I walked offstage after presenting my award to Sean [Combs, who was honored at the event] . . . I then loved him even more." Reps for Mr. Cosby stated "I don't want to discuss it."
So, Mr. Cosby is shoulder checking folks? Who gone check him, boo?!!!!
Man, that is PURE COMEDY, LOL. I love them both even more after reading this story, LOL.
R.I.P. Nate Dogg
Nathaniel Hale, better known to the world as "Nate Dogg" died yesterday at the age of 41. Nate Dogg is a rapper from Long Beach that began singing in his church choir and ending up singing the hooks on many of the songs we grew up to. His family announced his death but no cause of death has been released. Nate suffered a stroke in 2007 that left him temporarily paralized on the left side of his body. Just one year later, he suffered yet another stroke in 2008. DDT sends condolences to his family, friends and other fans.
I always loved his low voice and rocked to plenty of his songs. His talent will definitely be missed! Check out some of his music below, there was PLENTY to choose from but I just got a few.

Evelyn Lozada Wants $20K Per Episode
We've heard reports that "Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada was threatening to leave the show and now we have another reason why . Initially, it was because Eve felt that producers leaked information to Tami about sleeping with her ex-husband so that it would cause problems between the two. Now, Evelyn wants a raise from the reported $7,500 that the cast is currently paid per episode. Eve now wants $20,000 per episode... WTH!!
I'm not sure if this is true, mainly because I can't believe they're only being paid $7,500 per episode. If so, I bet Shaunie isn't being paid that. Oh well, we'll see if Evelyn returns next season or if she's off recording a new show with her "fiance", Chad Ochocinco. Or maybe she'll join the cast of "Football Wives", LOL. She most DEF won't be getting $20,000 per episode over there.

Dwyane Wade Wins FULL Custody Of His Sons
The custody battle between Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife Siohvaughn is finally over and I'm sure this isn't how she thought it would all play out. A judge awarded the Miami Heat player FULL custody of his two sons. Siohvaughn is only allowed to see her children on alternating weekends, holidays and for half of the summer. Dwyane released this statement.
I hate to see any mother lose her children, but I'm glad to see that her actions were not rewarded. Chick was supposedly clowning in the past!! There were reports that she often tried to keep D.Wade from seeing the boys. Plus, we all remember the drama she caused in the media during their divorce. There had to be SOME reason that the judge took her children. Now she's lost her husband, her children AND her child support, SMH. See women, bitterness seriously does NOT pay!! I'm happy that D.Wade stepped up!! Gabby got her a good one!!My life changed in a huge way. Mentally, I’ve been preparing for it for over a year now. To me, it’s bigger than that. For me, it shows a lot of people that you need to fight to be in your kids’ lives sometimes. You fight until you can’t fight any more. That’s all I was trying to be, a father in his kids’ lives. I think them living here, being here, it’s a great opportunity for them and I’m looking forward to it for them, to grow up with me and us learning together, how to be father-son. So I’m excited.”

11 Year Old Girl Gang Raped In Texas
I am convinced that this world is coming to an end.... There have been several arrests made in connection to the rape of an 11 year old Hispanic girl in Texas. Although we're just really hearing a lot about the story, the rape took place on November 18th. A 19 year old man convinced the girl to get in the car with him and two friends. They took her to a house where they told her to undress. The men called friends to come and join them. When a family member approached the house the men and the girl all fled out of a back bedroom window. It didn't stop there tho, they all (including the girl) went to another location and continued. Police believe that there were approximately 28 men involved in the incident.
Post your thoughts, cuz I'm seriously at a loss for words. Other than saying that all of these men need to rot in jail, I have nothing else to say.

Meetings At The Round Table: Do You Care Who Loves You?
It's been a while since I posted a MATRT discussion but after my recent experience, I HAD to share and see what my readers would have to say about it. If you know me personally, or have kept up with DDT, you'll know that I'm a VERY open minded person. While I (like everyone else) have my opinions on certain issues, I am never one to judge. It's not my job and I wouldn't care to be one. With that said, let's get on with the post. Oh and please excuse the language but I want y'all to REALLY be in the moment with me.
Recently I was at a dinner party with a friend. I was familiar with some of the guests and others I had never seen before. I was at the end closer to individuals that I didn't know, but if you know me, you know I'm a people person and if you're cool, we're cool. So, the guy next to me introduced himself (we'll call him Bobby), I introduced myself and as the night went on we shared more than a couple of laughs. It was just a great night with great energy in the air and really nice margaritas LOL. Towards the end of the night one of the other guests addressed my twin sister but called her Dawn (that's my name if you didn't know). We all laughed for a while at the fact that he'd sat through an entire meal thinking I was her and she was me. To help him and the other guests out I playfully said to them "the easiest way to tell is to look at the ring on her finger, I have no ring and I have no man" LOL. After pointing out that difference in the two of us, Bobby started speaking to me, but much softer than he had before. This is how the convo went.
Bobby: So, one of you doesn't care who loves you...which one is it?
Me: *HELLA CONFUSED/TIPSY FACE* huh?!
Bobby: One of you doesn't care who loves you....is it you?
At this point I'm extremely confused because number 1, where is this question coming from...and number 2, what in the hell is he talking about LOL. Check MORE DISH to see EXACTLY what he meant!

Me: I'm not really sure what you're asking so I can't really answer your question.
Bobby: Okay listen... I was with my girl for a while, everything was going good and then..... I started dating this guy. I let her know what was going on and we broke up. Now any woman that I meet I let her know off top that I've been with men before.
Me: *shocked as hell* Wow.. well let me say this, I commend you and truly respect you for your honesty. I appreciate the fact that you give the woman the opportunity to make that decision. It's a lot of men out here doing the same thing but they aren't truthful about it like you. I appreciate that!
Bobby: Yea, I'm always truthful....But BLACK WOMEN don't look at it that way. They're not looking at the fact that I'm not getting f*cked, I'm doing the f*cking! I love whoever loves me. But they look at it as if you let a ni**a suck you off, you're gay. I don't look at it that way... I look at it like A HOLE IS A HOLE!
Y'all...he got me with the "a hole is a hole" line. I had the SUPER stunned face on LOL. Back to the convo.
Me: Really, that's how you look at it?
Bobby: Yea, that doesn't make me gay. I don't know about telling women my situation tho cuz they always have this negative attitude about it.
Me: Yes, you do know and you're doing the right thing and again, I appreciate it! If that's how you feel about it, I respect that. But you also have to understand women feeling the way they feel about it as well.
Someone from the table got my attention and I left the conversation, thinking it was over. Nope, it wasn't! Bobby got my attention and starts up all over again LOL.
Bobby: So what do you think about it?
Me: What do I think about what? LOL
Bobby: The situation I just spoke of.
Me: Again, you're doing what you're supposed to (At this point Bobby kept saying "but, but, but"). If you're telling these women about your lifestyle and they are willing to accept it then that's what they're willing to accept and they are the ones that you might be able to be with.
Bobby: You keep saying THEY!
Me: Yes THEY, cuz that's not something that I'M willing to deal with but that's just me. Different people are willing to deal with different things.
Bobby: But that's not right.. women are able to flip flop and nobody says anything.
Me: You're right.. it's more acceptable with women, and yes it's a total double standard but that's just what it is. There a tons of double standards!
Bobby: That's f*cked up! (He didn't say this in a rude or offensive way..he was speaking of the double standard)
Me: This whole world is f*cked up, from the roota to the toota!! But there are seriously women out there that will accept it, I've heard stories of some.
At this point everyone was getting up to leave so that was literally our last words to one another. When I left I was in complete shock at what I'd just heard. Granted I've had men approach me before that I truly felt liked penis, but I have NEVER had one to come straight out and tell me (well he likes holes, but whatev). When I say I have the UTMOST respect for Bobby, I really do! I love hearing people's different takes on love and how they should receive and/or give it. Out of that entire discussion, the thing that confused me most was the fact that he SERIOUSLY does NOT consider himself to be "gay." Now personally, I don't care if you're gay, straight, bi or tri...but when you don't know who/what you are that can be totally confusing. Hell, it's confusing when you do know who/what you are LOL. Bobby stated to me that when he's with a person, that's who he's with and his partner doesn't have to worry about him stepping out. So I'm guessing that means that if he's with a woman, she doesn't have to worry about him being with a man and vice versa. I really would have liked to sit and talk with Bobby a little more because he seemed to be really open to talking about this, and I WILL ask a million and three questions LOL. The main question I wanted to ask is how are you not gay if you like having sexual relations (taking, giving, sucking, blowing, whatever) with another male? What do you guys think? Again I say, I commend Bobby for his truthfulness and we need more of it from our black men. Cuz while y'all playing, I know of a few men that could've been cast in "Broke Back Mountain" but they're out here pretending to like females. Well maybe I should say pretending to ONLY like females cuz clearly, Bobby likes females, he just likes him some boy meat as well. I'm wondering if more of these "down low" men would be more truthful about their lifestyles if they felt more women would accept it? I'm also curious as to why he said "black women" and not just women in general. Okay..comments please!! Do you care who loves you? I sure as hell do, LOL.

Serena Williams Hospitalized...
People is reporting that tennis star, Serena Williams was hospitalized due to a pulmonary embolism [blood clot in the lungs]. Her reps released this statement:
Monday Serena Williams underwent emergency treatment at Cedars for a hematoma she suffered as a result of treatment for a more critical situation," the rep says in an exclusive statement.
"Last week, Serena suffered from a pulmonary embolism [a blood clot in the lungs] which was discovered upon her return to L.A. She had been in New York for doctor appointments for the ongoing issues with her foot. Doctors are continuing to monitor her situation closely to avoid additional complications."
