Lengendary singer, Teddy Pendergrass (Teddy P.) passed away yesterday at the age of 59. I didn't know that he was sick but he's been battling cancer for years and passed last night at a hospital outside of Philadelphia, where the singer was born. Last night when I heard the news via Twitter, I had to "turn off the lights, and light a candle" (as only Teddy P. could say).
My condolences to his family, friends and many many fans! Now, y'all know I had to give ya some of his music. That voice was something serious honey, whew! Check it out.
