Remember the little Black and Hispanic kids that were turned away from the swimming pool in Philadelphia, AFTER they had paid to enter? Well, Tyler Perry decided to do something for them to let them know that this BS did not go unnoticed. He is sponsoring a trip to Disney World for the 65 children!
“He wanted to do something nice for them and let them know that for every negative experience, there are people out there who want them to succeed regardless of the color of their skin,” said Keleigh Thomas, Perry’s publicist. She added the entertainer would be footing the bill for all transportation, hotel, admissions and food costs at the Florida themepark. (CNN.com)
I love to see our men giving back to the community, especially the children. I'm sure you all know Tyler Perry's story, he came from living in the streets to what you all see today. It's wonderful when a person never forgets where they come from and who helped get them there (GOD & the public).
