President Barack Obama Supports Gay Marriages... Do You Think This Will Help His Campaign?

President Obama has finally stated that he supports the LGBT community in their fight to be legally married.  Personally, I think it was a smart move.  Not only because I totally believe that a person should be able to marry anybody they want, but also because numbers don't lie (unless we're talking about down low dudes).  Do you know how many votes he just got from the LGBT community? TONS!!



Gosh, I grow to love this man more and more on a daily. I don't know about y'all, but you already know he has my vote. ;)

President Obama Speaks At Booker T. Washington's 2011 Graduation

Yesterday the city of Memphis (my hometown) was ecstatic about the arrival of the 44th (and COOLEST) President arriving into the city. President Barack Obama was here to speak to the 2011 graduating class of Booker T. Washington High School (BTW). For those of you that are not from Memphis and might be unfamiliar with the story of BTW, check this video below. It gives a back story of the school and it's also the video that won them the "Race to the Top" competition that brought the President to their school.



I cry every time I watch that video, these children have SUCH an amazing story. It's not hard to go from SOMETHING and succeed. But to come from NOTHING and succeed is amazing and nothing short of a blessing! For winning the "Race to the Top" competion, President Obama attended the commencement as their Key Note Speaker. While the students knew he would speak at their ceremony, they were not expecting him to pop in and speak with them prior to. Check that video below.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I love this man!! For him to listen to and remember the stories of these children just proves that he REALLY cares. Thanks again for coming to our city, Mr. President!! Your presence and inspiring words were greatly appreciated!! This video didn't show it, but he stayed and shook the hand of each and every graduate. That's something that they will remember for the rest of their lives!!

President Obama Announces Osama Bin Laden's Death

Last night news broke that the world's most wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden had not only been found, but also killed after months of investigating a tip of his whereabouts.  The U.S. intelligence operatives got a tip in August about his whereabouts which led to Sunday's attack on a mansion that he was hiding in.  It's been reported that after a fire fight, Bin Laden was shot in the left eye by Navy Seals.  No Americans were harmed in the fire exchange. Because of issues with burying the body of such a powerful as well as hated man, the U.S. chose to bury him at sea.  WOW!

Now, what I'm confused about is how in the heck we've been told for almost 10 years that dude was hiding in caves but they find him in a mansion not far from the capital of Pakistan!  How long was dude chilling in the mansion prior to the tip the U.S. received back in August?  There are so many questions that need to be answered with this story. I'm glad they found him, but honestly, I'm scared of what's next.  Check out the Presiden'ts announcement below.

President Obama Releases His Birth Certificate!

Since President Obama (then Senator Obama) announced his plan to originally run for the Presidency, he has been under attack about rather he was really born in the U.S. You would think that after he ran, WON, and has almost served his first full term this question would no longer haunt us.  Well, that's not the case! I can't wait to see what they'll come up with next to question him about since he has now released a copy of his birth certifcate (see here).  Not just a copy, the LONGGGGGGGG copy.  "IN D FACE (Prince Akeem voice) LMBO.  I absolutely LOVE IT! Now, the question is "when will they start focusing on the real issues within this country? #sitdown
