LisaRaye McCoy chilled with VIBE magazine and gave them the real about her relationship with her ex-husband, losing friends in the industry, reality tv and more. Check out a little of what she said about being called a "gold digger".
"You wanna hate on the fact that I wanna find someone that is going somewhere and the only way I can tell is because of his history and where he's been... well you wanna call that gold digging, call it whatever you want to.. I'm digging for platinum then."
"White girls do it all the time, but when we do it we're gold diggers."
Hmph, check the full interview below (click links if the videos don't work).
GOT DAMNIT, I love me some LisaRaye baby!!!! She is so extra real and I LOVES IT!! I have to admit that the first episode of her reality show didn't really do it for me, but after that second show... I was hooked! I love her show and I make sure to catch it every Thursday on TVOne. You should too.
SideNote: Uhh LisaRaye, the only thing that I didn't particularly like about this interview was that "who else can say they were the first lady of a country" thing. Please don't forget about my auntie (in my head), Mrs. Michelle Obama!!! Preciate it ;). You gotta give it to Ms. McCoy tho, she was one BAD AZZ FIRST LADY!!

Freddyo recorded Monica doing a tribute to her friend, the great Ms. Whitney Houston. Check it out.
I'm with Monica... Y'all can say WTH y'all want about Whitney, but make sure you don't leave out that she was one of the greatest (arguably THE greatest) singer ever!! I hate that her voice isn't what is used to be, but its documented in all those fye albums so y'all can kick rocks with an open toe shoe(I holla'd when Brandy said that LOL). Am I the only one that was jamming when she broke out with "You Give Good Love?" Anywho, as I was searching for a picture of Monica and Whitney (which I couldn't find) I came across another video. Whitney was in concert and she got Monica to "shoop" with her. It's the old Whitney that we all love and it was really cute so I thought I'd post it for ya. Check MORE DISH to watch that one.
Awww, how cute was little Bobbi Kristina..
Rihanna was photographed while shooting her video for her song Te Amo from her Rated R album. You already know she's going to be sharp as a tack, per usual. RiRi is a bad chick, gotta love her.
After that Rude Boy video I'm most def waiting to see what she'll do next.

I saw this video the other day on 106 and Park but didn't tune in until Tip's part. Hearing Tip of course made me come out the back room to see what this was. Tip caught my attention but B.o.B was more than able to keep it. Everybody has been feeling his single "Nothing On You" and I'm really feeling this joint too. What do y'all think about the song and video?

Whewww I likes this man!!! I enjoyed hearing him speak and seeing more of his personality. I wanted to hear what he had to say about the "Window Seat" video, dangit FreddyO LOL. Anywho, check out what he had to say when they questioned him about his relationship with Serena.
Check MORE DISH for a verse from a song on his upcoming album... he's such a talented artist
I knew I loved Sandra Bullock!!! Through all the bull she's been going through this year, she has so many things to celebrate. She won her first Oscar and she's now showing the world the beautiful chocolate baby she adopted a couple of months ago. Louis Bardo Bullock is 3 and a half months old, was born in New Orleans and has been with his new family since January. He is TOOOOOOOOOOOOO dang cute!! I love it!! Sandra spoke proudly of her baby boy stating "he's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way." Awwwwwww, congrats Sandra, I'm sure she'll be a GREAT mommy! Personally, I'm glad she didn't go out of the country like most celebs. We have lots of babies right here in the U.S. that need our help too.
I liked the whole concept of the video, the acting was horrible tho LOL. Y'all already know I'm digging the song, I actually like Rasheeda's whole mix tape. So, what do y'all think about the song and the video. The ladies look cute Kandi's hair looks good, Lola's too.
I like how the put in some raw footage at the end. Looks like they had a real good time.
I'm sure y'all remember Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez's girl group "Blaque", their biggest hit was "808". Bossip is reporting that the groups rapper, Natina Reed was arrested in Georgia for prostitution, cocaine possession and disorderly conduct.
This is soooooooooooo sad, she was such a pretty girl. I always wonder what happens to these young ladies for them to end up in these situations. I'm not shocked at the drug and disorderly conduct charges cuz she was always a bit extra. But prostitution tho, WOW! Natina has a son with rapper and ex-fiance, Kurupt. This mugshot is the pits....that hair, that mustache, that look. I hope she prays her way out of that, SMH.
Other sources are saying that the story was altered by bloggers in efforts to make the story more "juicy" than it really is. As you see in my original post, I stated that the disorderly conduct and possession didn't shock me, but the prostitution did. Well, supposedly Natina wasn't arrested for prostitution. Although I hate for blogs to make up ish and I hate reporting incorrect info, I really hope that the prostitution ish was bogus. I'll keep you posted.

Lebron James looks to be a real deal "RUDE BOY". Not the type of rude boy Rihanna was talking about, but the kind that makes folks wanna roast that azz. Watch the video below and tell me what y'all think.
Dang Lebron, that was rude as hell LOL. At first I was kinda thinking it wasn't on purpose, but he did that ish THREE TIMES LOL. I really hope he wasnt paying attention and not just being an azz.
There were several celebs at the party, including Jamie Foxx, Lil Kim and more. Jamie and Tip hit the stage to perform their new single "Winner" and you already know the night wouldn't have been complete without Tip performing "I'm Back" (love that song).
Diddy was strolling around Hollywood with his new artist, Nicki Minaj (he's her new manager). I'm liking Nicki's reserved look. All of that green hair is okay for performances but on a regular day I'm gonna need her to let it go.

Jenny and her baby boy, David Jr.
Seriously Amber Rose? You rock this just walking down the street? LOL

Monica takes a listen to what Brandy has to say about "Still Standing" and talks about the old beef between them.
I cant wait for them to get back in the studio together, "The Boy Is Mine" was my jam back in the day (and still is). I remember we (me, my sister and our friend) performed it at Rust College YEARS ago. When we first got up there the crowd was acting an azz, but you couldn't tell us we weren't Brandy and Monica LMAO. We shut it down once we got them quiet, ahhhh, memories. Anywho, both Brandy and Monica have beautiful voices so I'm sure they will straight KILL a ballad. Of course it'll be posted here as soon as it's out.

Twitter was going wild the other night when Babourey Sidibe hosted Saturday Night Live. Check out these clips from the show over http://bossip.com/241559/gabourey-sidibes-psa-im-not-precious-im-famous-and-im-hosting-snl-btches-get-like-me/#more-241559.
The opening scene and the last one (alarm clock) were kinda funny. That singing and dancing sure gave me a laugh LOL. She looks like she had fun, good deal Gabby. What do yall think about the skits?
I couldve gone without seeing the crack but its a beautiful pic...
Stacey is doing another music video... check out some pics from that shoot! Check out the pics.
Pics from Global Grind
Look at this BS...
That was honestly just SAD!! Then she forced those poor lil babies to be a part of this 5 star BS, SMH! Although this was some sick ish, I HAD to laugh when the lil boy kept trying to put that money in her volcano sized belly button. ROFL! A mess I tell ya!
Just watch... LOL
OMGGGGGGGG, y'all I'm literally in tears over here ROFL!! That po baby couldn't get those shoes on to save his life LOL. But when dude slick kicked the shoe to him at the 0:24 mark, I holla'd forreal. Did y'all see how he was looking at the chicks after he got up? LMAO. IDK what he was drinking but I don't want any (unless I'm at the house where I can go barefoot LOL).
Side Note: that camera girl aint ish LMBO.

Lauren London finally opens up about her pregnancy, her son and Wayne as a father. If the video doesnt work just go to the link below it.
I love her attitude about this and I'm glad she didnt allow all the negative things to break her down. They really did eat her azz up in the media about having Wayne's baby, SMH.
All celebs (and non celebs) go down at some point in life. Rihanna hit the stage (literally) during her "The Last Girl on Earth" tour. Check it out.

"Why Cant Successful Black Women Find men?" I promise this is something that we as black women ask ALL the time, SMH. Take a look at Jacque Reid (pictured above), she's pretty, extremely successful and seems to have a great personality....yet she's still single. Check out this panel discussion on MSNBC with Jacque, Steve Harvey and more to hear their thoughts.
Lots of them made very good points, but honestly.. that potential thing kinda ticked me off. Let me explain why. Although I have no problem with interracial, I DO have a problem with a black man being with a black woman while he has that "potential" but as soon as he gets on he's looking at other races of women. Oooh, that burns me up. Truth is that in some situations, potential just aint enough. Anywho, your thoughts on the video.

Get it CiCi!!! Based on this song/video alone, I'll be purchasing her album. This is a dancing azz woman. After watching this I'll be heading to the gym like ASAP! Is it me or was she looking real Beyonce'ish with that blonde hair?

Check out this behind the scenes video from Rasheeda's "Bedrock" remix with Kandi, Lola, Diamond and Toya.
Looks like they had a good time. I cant wait for the video, you know it'll be here ASAP.
LMAO, this is a fool! She back there just acting a clown while the bus is moving LOL. Dude said "a hot azz mess" LOL. Fun times :).
Memphis' own, Benjamin Hooks passed away last week at the age of 85. Hooks was a lawyer and Baptist minister that was extremly active in the civil rights movement. At one point, he was the leader of the NAACP. Among his many achievement, the one that I cant go without mentioning is the fact that Mr. Hooks was the very FIRST black judge to sit on the bench of a Tennesse state court since Reconstruction. RIP Mr. Hooks
Keith "Guru" Elam (1966-2010)
Hip Hop rap legend Guru died yesterday after a year long battle with cancer. Reports are that Guru suffered cardiac arrest back in March and has been in a coma. I'm not really familiar with Guru so of course I had to look him up. He was part of the rap duo "Gang Starr", they released a total of 6 albums in their career. Although I didnt know much about Guru, this news was upsetting for me because he was only 43 years old. We never know how long we have here on this earth so take every moment as a blessing. RIP Guru.
Check MORE DISH to read a letter from Guru to his fans, friends, family and ex DJ Premiere
I, Guru, am writing this letter to my fans, friends and loved ones around the world. I have had a long battle with cancer and have succumbed to the disease. I have suffered with this illness for over a year. I have exhausted all medical options.
I have a non-profit organization called Each One Counts dedicated to carrying on my charitable work on behalf of abused and disadvantaged children from around the world and also to educate and research a cure for this terrible disease that took my life. I write this with tears in my eyes, not of sorrow but of joy for what a wonderful life I have enjoyed and how many great people I have had the pleasure of meeting.
My loyal best friend, partner and brother, Solar, has been at my side through it all and has been made my health proxy by myself on all matters relating to myself. He has been with me by my side on my many hospital stays, operations, doctors visits and stayed with me at my home and cared for me when I could not care for myself. Solar and his family is my family and I love them dearly and I expect my family, friends, and fans to respect that, regardless to anybody's feelings on the matter. It is my wish that counts. This being said I am survived by the love of my life, my sun KC, who I trust will be looked after by Solar and his family as their own. Any awards or tributes should be accepted, organized approved by Solar on behalf myself and my son until he is of age to except on his own.
I do not wish my ex-DJ to have anything to do with my name likeness, events tributes etc. connected in anyway to my situation including any use of my name or circumstance for any reason and I have instructed my lawyers to enforce this. I had nothing to do with him in life for over 7 years and want nothing to do with him in death. Solar has my life story and is well informed on my family situation, as well as the real reason for separating from my ex-DJ. As the sole founder of GangStarr, I am very proud of what GangStarr has meant to the music world and fans. I equally am proud of my Jazzmatazz series and as the father of Hip-Hop/Jazz. I am most proud of my leadership and pioneering efforts on Jazzmatazz 4 for reinvigorating the Hip-Hop/Jazz genre in a time when music quality has reached an all time low. Solar and I have toured in places that I have never been before with GangStarr or Jazzmatatazz and we gained a reputation for being the best on the planet at Hip-Hop/Jazz, as well as the biggest and most influential Hip-Hop/Jazz record with Jazzmatazz 4 of the decade to now. The work I have done with Solar represents a legacy far beyond its time. And we as a team were not afraid to push the envelope. To me this is what true artists do! As men of honor we stood tall in the face of small mindedness, greed, and ignorance. As we fought for music and integrity at the cost of not earning millions and for this I will always be happy and proud, and would like to thank the million fans who have seen us perform over the years from all over the world. The work I have done with Solar represents a legacy far beyond its time and is my most creative and experimental to date. I hope that our music will receive the attention it deserves as it is some of the best work I have done and represents some of the best years of my life.
Yup, that's my girl Lauryn Hill out and about. She recently attended the Tanzania Education Trust Gala and Reception in New York. Check the rest of the pics below.
