I feel SO bad for laughing but that was FUNNY, LOL. Poor lil baby didn't even see it coming. I know he felt like pure SH*T after.

One of my besties loves Orly polish... Since I'm no longer wearing acrylic on my nails, I'm anxious to see what polish actually lasts on natural nails. Just like I support Monica in her music, I'll be purchasing this polish when it becomes available. I'll keep you posted! More Dish!
This one here just wont stop, LOL. Check here to listen to Mary Harvey go in (SOME MORE) about Steve.
BTW... I love "The Breakfast Club", they make a great team. Oh and Mary might wanna reconsider fooling with Marjorie. For some reason, I don't think she's one you wanna fool with. Marjorie is now suing Mary after the release of the YouTube videos. Like I said, this is going to get a lot worse before it gets any better. More Dish!

I LOVE this video!!! Nicki is such a pretty girl and I love all of her characters. Martha and Nicki's convo was way hilarious, LMBO.

This just made me love Taraji even more. That was as real as it gets! Some people don't really realize what those animals go through. I'm glad that once she saw it, she decided to speak on it.
That was just HORRIBLE!! Who in their right mind could just beat these animals like this and skin them alive? I'll tell you who, NO ONE. You are CLEARLY not in your right mind if you could do something like this, SMH.
If you missed Oprah on Monday, you missed an AMAZING show! Oprah revealed a family secret that she's been keeping for a few months. Back in November, Oprah found out that she has a half sister. Vernita, Oprah's
Although Oprah's mother seemed hesitant at first (and still), the other members of the family welcomed her with open arms. Oprah could have very easily chose to ignore her "little sister", but she chose to embrace her. As I was watching this story unfold, it made me think of my own family. Our story was recently mentioned in the February 2011 issue of Sister 2 Sister Magazine and Oprah's story simply made me want to share it here. If you're not tired of reading just yet, check MORE DISH to hear MY family's story. It was definitely a "GOD MOMENT", as Oprah would say!
Okay... I don't normally talk about my personal life on DDT, hence the tag line "It's not MY business, but it's a business", however my cousin Memphitz spoke about it in his Sister 2 Sister interview (check it out) so why not. Not that its a secret or anything, but the story has simply never been told.
I'm sure everyone in Memphis is aware of the Mickey Wright, Sr. story (if not, you can read about it here). Just to fill you in a bit, Mickey was my uncle and he was murdered in 2001. I won't go all into that because this post will go somewhere else. With that info in mind, here's the story.
My daddy just retired from the City of Memphis Fire Department (CONGRATS DADDY), but back in 2004 while at a new fire station he asked his co-workers "who running the hookup", one of his co-workers turned around and answered "me." My dad said when the guy turned around he dropped his boots and gear and stood in shock. Daddy stood there so long that the young man playfully asked him "you okay old man", LOL. Daddy finally said "I'm cool, you just look so much like my brother-in-law" (speaking of my Uncle Mickey). Neither of them thought much about it and the younger firemen introduced himself as Greg. The two continued about their day. Fast forward to 2007..... This year was really hard on my family. Shelby County District Attorney Bill Gibbons who previously bragged about his "NO DEALS" policy accepted a plea deal with my uncle's murderer (yea, how did that happen?). This plea deal grabbed the city's attention and the story was back to "breaking news." It was then that Greg received a phone call from a friend who said "hey man, you're on the news, you need to see this." Greg then turns on the news, sees my family and then sees a picture of my Uncle Mickey. Greg couldn't believe what he was seeing, a man that was damn near IDENTICAL to himself. Greg thought about the fireman back in 2004 that mentioned his brother-in-law and their resemblance. He had another fireman to contact my father. After speaking with my father, neither of them really knew what to do next. Greg's mother had previously passed on so he couldn't go to her and ask why he shared the same face as a total stranger, LOL. My father (being my father), decided to see what someone else in the family thought. On one of his off days he drove my mother to the fire station and left her in the car. He walked back out with Greg at his side. My mother immediately broke down crying. She said Greg was apologizing for causing her to cry, she was apologizing for crying and daddy was apologizing for springing it on her LOL. Now, NOBODY knew what to do.
I heard about it from my mom and dad but didn't think much of it...that is until I saw his face. My cousin Candy called and said "this is my brother, I'm about to send you a pic." When I opened that text message I was FLOORED!!! The resemblance is nothing less than amazing!! I called back and said 'yup, that's your brother" LOL. Shortly after, my other cousins were called and they decided to take a DNA test. The test results proved what was obvious, he was my Uncle Mickey's son. Greg was never told that my Uncle Mickey was his father and my Uncle Mickey never knew of Greg. He was my uncle's first born child and never even knew he existed. One of the scariest things is that Greg not only LOOKS like my Uncle Mickey, he even has the mannerisms of his father. A man he never even laid eyes on! When Oprah spoke of how her new found sister not only had the same name as her deceased sister, but also the mannerisms, I knew exactly what she meant. In the S2S interview, my cousin Mickey called Greg his "bonus brother" and I thought that was so super cute. We never knew he even existed but you wouldn't be able to tell at a family function. He is now a part of our family just like every other member. One night when we were all partying (and drinking LOL), my older sister looked up at him and said "I'm so glad we found you." We all are!
Well, that's my Oprah story/"GOD moment." I just felt like sharing after hearing Oprah do the same. People can believe what they want but you can't tell me there isn't a GOD, and he's an AWESOME ONE at that!!!
But wait.. I just called Greg to read him this post before posting and OMG..he sounds JUST LIKE THE REST OF THOSE WRIGHT BROTHERS.. LMBO!! More Dish!
Famed author Terry McMillian took to her Twitter page to voice her opinion of "The 2nd Family".
Really? While I have my own issues with children being put in the spot light, I think this was so uncalled for. I mean what made her just up and tweet this? Maybe she saw a video or something, IDK. Whatever the reason, I think it's silly. I see how adult celebrities are treated by the public so I have my concerns about how that same treatment would affect a young child. Also, I think children should be given the opportunity to attend real schools if at all possible. HOWEVER, in the case of the Smith children...they've lived this since they were born. If they're already a part of the celebrity world, there is no reason to try and shield them from it if they want to pursue their own careers. Other than the school thing I have no issues with child stars. They should be able to pursue their dreams, whatever they may be. If they can sing, dance, walk a balance beam or whatever, LET THEM!!
Oh and... I don't see the arrogance in their demeanor that she spoke of. They seem like children that come from money and are trying to advance in their own careers. Ms. McMillian, please keep these kinds of comments to yourself and get to writing another book. I need another good read, ASAP. Please and thank you!

A lot of A-list movie stars shielded their children from the Hollywood-world until they were old enough to decide. Look at those who didn’t. Look at Lindsay. Phoenix. To name but a few. They miss out on childhood. It’s more important than fame.
These kids don’t already know what they “love”. Total bullshit. They’re not prodigies. They think Hollywood is real.
Why don’t they do a remake of The Little Rascals and call it a day? Or, come up with an original film with some ethnic pride. Come on.
Okay. I’ve said enough about the Smith children. I’m not debating about them. It’s just my opinion. People can justify anything, though.
In 4th grade my son came home complaining that the kids in his school said I was famous and rich. I told him that was not true. That some of my books were popular but not everybody liked them. That we could afford a vacation. “Oh” he said, and went back & repeated it. I wanted him to think of me as his mother. He didn’t read any of my novels until he was 15. He only read 26 pages. Was bored.
Have a wonderful Wednesday everybody. I raised my son. I’m not wasting another minute worrying about how Will & Jada are raising their kids.
P.S. I loved the Karate Kid.
Well okay then, LOL.
After all of that was said and done, Terry came back to tweet her apology!!
I apologize for using the word pimp and exploit in referring to the Smith children. It was insensitive of me and wrong. Twitter is not the best forum to express some things. I didn’t know folks would take my opinion so personally. It is amazing, though, how fast an unflattering comment gets retweeted versus one that’s flattering. I’m done with this issue. My opinion isn’t going to change anything.
There are a lot more important things going on in the world right now. My Mama used to say: “They’ll talk about you if you do. And talk about you if you don’t. Let ‘em talk.” Some folks look for a reason to criticize you. They’re getting off on it and are saying much worse things than I did. I’ve got work to do. I hope everybody who has something important to do today besides worry about the Smith children, does it.
And for those of you who were so offended by what I said or thought I was being disrespectful, unfollow me.

Last week I watched the whole season of Making The Band 3 AGAIN, and since then I've been meaning to do a post about Ms. Dawn Richards. I love seeing her in Dirty Money because she deserves every blessing sent her way. She was always talented and from the beginning, she was the MOST HUMBLE chick on the show. Even when all the other chicks in Danity Kane were acting an azz, she was still trying to keep the peace. Dawn has transformed right before our eyes into a beast on the stage and she went from having nothing after Hurricane Katrina to doing her own thing with fashion. It's always inspiring to see good people come into good things.
Even though I hated that last note, I like Kaleenah too. People can hate on Dirty Money if they want, but I'm digging em.
If you follow me on Twitter you might know that I likes me some Peter Thomas... Peter is the husband of Atlanta Housewife Cynthia Bailey. He recently spoke to Uptown Magazine and shared his feelings about the other cast members, his relationship with Cynthia and their financial issues.
ON ANDY COHEN AND THE OTHER HOUSEWIVES
I say anything I f—ing feel, because I don’t feel I need to answer to anybody but God. People are going on Andy Cohen’s show and being all careful—I don’t give a f-ck. If they ever put me on that sh–, I’m gonna say exactly how I feel, and that’s what people wanna hear. If he asks, “What do you think about the guys in Atlanta wearing heels?” I’m gonna say, “That sh-t is not cute.”
If they say, “What do you think about the other Housewives?” I’m gonna say, “I can’t stand Phaedra’s ass. I think Kim is crazy as f–k. Nene has a big-ass mouth, okay? And Sheree’s not cute! She thinks she’s cute, but she’s not cute.” And this is ON the record. The only one I like is Kandi, and she’s too soft. That’s why she got played with Kim. And that’s how I truly feel. “

ON THE MONEY-LENDING INCIDENTAs much as I appreciate what she’s done, it probably came across to everybody that she put up all this money to help me build my restaurant. No. Initially, she put up $10,000. Uptown [Restaurant and Lounge] cost several hundred thousand dollars—$10,000 couldn’t buy the silverware and the plates at Uptown.I'm too tickeled at his response to the other houswives, LMBO. I like Peter and Cynthia, they make a nice couple. You can read the full interview here.
So it’s not like she’s supported my vision and gave me money to build a restaurant ’cuz that’s not what happened. And I want to clear that up. I didn’t agree with her putting
SHE CAN’T TELL ME NOIf I need her to do something for me again, she better step up. That’s part of her duty as a wife. Because she’s never gonna call on me and I say no—never. It’s my duty as a husband to provide whatever support to [help] her go forward. The show that I’m on is called Atlanta Housewives, not Atlanta Husbands. I’m not getting paid to be on the show. But I have to do it to support my wife. So I just gotta bite my lip, swallow my spit, and call it a day.

Lots of times when celebs are publicly attacked, they are usually quiet about it. Well, I guess Mary Harvey's YouTube videos really got under Steve's skin. His lawyers first released a statment that Mr. Harvey wouldn't be responding, that all changed when he addressed the videos via his "The Steve Harvey Show." Check out what he had to say.
“I know the truth,” declared Harvey to his listening audience. “But the matter is, the part that’s hurtful in this is my wife and children had to be drugged [sic] into this. If you’re going to be vindictive go ahead and aim it at me, but my son is coming in the room crying. And that’s also her son. So why would you do this?
“And I don’t even understand the purpose of it,” he continued. “I mean, I got you mad 12 years ago, that’s what we’re doing now? And here’s the thing that my father always taught me. He said, ‘Son there’s three sides to every story. It’s their side, it’s your side, and it’s the truth.’ And the truth ‘gon come out. Because see, once you go public then you allow people to start asking some other types of questions.
“So, I’m just more concerned about my son, who I happen to have total custody of, rights to all education and everything. He’s with us on the ship today. And he doesn’t deserve to have to answer questions like this from his friends. And it’s just being inconsiderate of your own child.
Check MORE DISH to see the rest of his response
“A lot of it is lies, but … a lot of celebrities get dogged out and pitched about and then there’s no repercussions behind the person who’s doing the pitching,” Harvey lamented on the airwaves.
“Here’s my job as a father to my son, I have taught him to be respectful of his mother and women overall. That’s what I’ve taught him. What he can’t do is see me going out making particular accusations and rants. It is still his mother and I’m his father,” he continued. “And it’s my job to raise him the right way. If I have custody of the child, which you have to wonder how that happened, then my job is to teach him by example. And he’s crying through this whole thing because his friends called and his sister found it on the internet at the same time. And it’s just horrible. But it is what it is, I’m good. I appreciate all the support … the people that’s going to hate you they’re just looking for something to hate you for anyway. You could do me all you want, I don’t care what you say about me. But my wife and kids are off limits, I tell people all the time.”
The multimedia personality went on to express his thoughts on his ex-wife’s motives for bringing the accusations to light. “I mean it’s simple, she’s just keeping a promise that they made. ‘I’m going to divorce you and I’m going to ruin you,’” he stated, referring to what some spurned spouses say during a divorce. “That’s the promise that was made… But, Wynton’s with us and he’s doing well. If you want to pray for us then pray for Wynton. But things will be dealt with in the proper fashion this time. This time it’ll get dealt with in the proper fashion.”
I can just see this getting a lot worse before it gets better. But like Steve said, there is always three sides to a story. I've read both of Steve's books and he admitted to being unfaithful in his marriage. I believe that Mary has some truths in her story, but I'm sure she's adding a little extra. We'll see what happens, I'll keep you posted.

Pics snatched from JustJared More Dish!
Mary Harvey, the ex-wife of Steve Harvey is speaking out for the first time since their 2005 divorce. She spoke of Steve's infidelity, how his relationship with current wife Marjorie began and more.

Ain't that some BS? I can believe some of what she said, especially since Steve admits in his books that he was not ready to be married during this time. What I'm confused about is how in the hell he left the marriage without leaving her anything (and took their son). She had all of this proof that he was cheating, so how did she get nothing? Oh well, whatever the case, I'm not mad at her for speaking out. He does mention their marriage several times in both of his books. Therefore, if he can speak about it, she should be able to do the same. More Dish!

This is Carlina White now at 23 years old. Carlina has lived in Georgia her entire life and grew up thinking her name was Nejdra Nance. Carlina said that she felt something was wrong because she didn't resemble anyone in her family. She began to research online and found her baby picture on a Missing Child website. She then went into action to find her family. Once she located Joy (her birth mother) they contacted the police. After having DNA testing done, it was confirmed that "Nejdra" was actually Carlina White.
It's a blessing that she found her birth parents and family! According to Carlina, the people that raised her treated her badly. Whoever these folks are, they need to be put UNDER the damn jail. How could you do that to someone? My heart goes out to the White family because I know their lives have not been easy these last 23 years. To read more about the story click here.
Keyshia Cole performs one of my favorite songs from her "Calling All Hearts" album, "Take Me Away."
Uploaded by yardie4lifever2. - See video of the biggest web video personalities.
I love this song... glad they chose it as the second single.
CONGRATS to the couple!!! I don't know about you guys but I would LOVE to see Monica on "Basketball Wives." Not the current BBW that we see with all EX BBW's, but a real one. One that wouldn't involve so much cattiness. Maybe she and Keyshia could show them how to REALLY be a BBW.
Now, when will they have this little girl that I'm waiting on. :)

Wow.. I didn't know that Oprah's child was actually born and died, I thought she miscarried the child. I absolutely LOVE Oprah's realness. Personally, I can totally understand her feelings about the situation. Sometimes we question things but we have to realize that some things happen for the better. This was clearly one of those situations.

T.I. always says I gave him such a hard time when we first met and I did... I stood him up a couple times.
When I met him, I was kinda on hiatus, I'd broken from Xscape, but I had co-wrote the song "No Scrubs" for TLC, so you know, I was living good and doing my thing and I met him in the mall, well, I had met him before in the studio. I was working with Jazzy Pha one time and he came in and I also had heard from a guy, KP, who signed him. He played some of his music for me one time and I was like, he’s a hot artist, I like him.
Check MORE DISH to read more
Then I saw him in the mall and we conversed a little bit and I had my daughter with me and somehow we exchanged numbers and later on that evening, before I could leave the mall we was on the phone, and I was like, 'OK, so you wanna grab something to eat?' We went to this little $3 cafe right around the corner with my little girl and we just sat there kickin' it. And from then on, he was calling me and calling me, wanting to come hook up and I’d be like, 'Yeah, we gon...let’s hook up, such and such' and then I wouldn’t answer the phone and he’d be like, 'You know time after time.'
So finally I let him come by, but I still wasn’t sure because I felt like ‘Oh, he’s a baby’ and I treated it like that and he kinda felt like, 'You trying to play me like I’m a little boy.’ And one night, and it’s probably the best thing he could’ve did, he invited me to one of his shows and it was at The Bounce on Bankhead, and I went to the show, and first of all, it was jam-packed outside, it was crazy and I’m like, 'All these people here for this guy?' We went in there and he tore the house down. And I was like, 'OK, I think I like him.' [Laughs] He’s got something there
How sweet... I heard Tiny has always been down for her man. Of course we still see that today, they are the for real "Bonnie and Clyde."

Knowing where we came from and what people such as Dr. King did for us still amazes me. Especially since our people today seem so unappreciative of the rights those people fought so hard for us to have. A friend on FB posted a video from an episode of "The Boondocks" that showed what Dr. King might say today if he were still living. Check MORE DISH to see the clip.
Hmph, and people don't think that "our shows" speak the truth.
Well, I can't say I saw this one coming. Kevin Hart came to Memphis back in November with his comedy show. During the show, he told the audience that he was separated from his wife. I later saw reports that the couple were divorcing. I was happy to see that their divorce wasn't all messy, but it looks like his wife had a few things to get off her chest. Check out Torry Hart's comedy spill below.
I guess we now know SOME of the things that led to her divorce.

So, did anyone watch the awards show? I heard it was super boring. Let me know what you think about the looks from the red carpets.
