Erykah Badu Fined And Placed On Probation For Window Seat Video

A few months back I reported that Erykah Badu had been officially charged by the city of Dallas for COMPLETELY disrobing in a public place in her video for Window Seat.  Ms. Badu has will be fined $500 and serve 6 months of probation.  Check the video below.



I'm all for the fine cuz although I understand she was sending a message, you can't go around getting tit-twat naked just because you feel like it LOL.  The probation seems to be a bit much, but hey, I'm sure she doesn't really care.  Thoughts?

Nice song and the beat is banging. These two have an album coming out some time this year called "Death of a Pop Star." I still bump Banner's "Greatest Story Ever Told" album so I'm sure with the 9th Wonder beats it'll be a hot collabo.

97 Seconds With Erykah Badu... Plus, She Has Officially Been Charged!

Well, Erykah has officially been charged with disorderly conduct for her "Window Seat" video. The charge has a $500 fine, which is probably less than what the permit to shoot the video would have cost her so.. SHE WINS LOL. One of my readers commented on my first post about Erykah and stated that she shouldn't be charged because nudity is an art. I agree with nudity being an art, but I do NOT agree with he fact that she just started dropping her draws in front of unknowing individuals (children included). Anywho, I've always loved me some Erykah and I found this 97 second video of Ms. Badu interesting, so I wanted to share.

New Music Video - Erykah Badu "Window Seat"

Okay, yea... it was definitely a message in the video but WHY in the hell did she have to get tit-twat naked to convey it? I dig Erykah and always have, but this was most def a bit much for me. Listen closely to what she says at the end after she's shot.

"They play it safe, are quick to assisnate what they do not understand. They move in packs, injesting more and more fear with every act of hate on one another.
