Lil Wayne Starts His Year Long Jail Sentence *UPDATED*
TMZ is reporting that the judge placed Wayne in protective custody for his sentence. I'm glad because you know some ignant mofo would probably start some ish JUST to say he did something to Lil Wayne. After he was sentence he was reportedly cuffed then turned to his fans and bowed. He always seems like such a humble guy. Keep ya head up Wayne and we'll be waiting for ya when you get home.
Oh, BTW.... I had the opportunity to interview Wayne's ex-wife Ms. Toya Carter this past weekend. We talked about Wayne's jail sentence and a WHOLE LOT MORE. Be sure to check back daily!

According to the New York Daily News Lil Wayne will not be spending his 1 year at Rikers Island in protective custody. Check it!!
Even though defense lawyer Stacey Richman initially claimed that city officials
were forcing the rapper into protective custody, it turns out he’s going into a
regular cellblock. Correction Department spokesman Stephen Morello said the
“Lollipop” singer will have “general population escort” status.
That means
he’ll be escorted by a correction captain when outside of his housing unit –
just like gang members. Inside, he’s free to socialize under the watchful eye of
guards with the 17 men on his cellblock – or stay locked in his cell.
“It’s
his choice,” Morello said.
He said the agency never got a request from Lil
Wayne to be treated like any other inmate – and Richman conceded she never made
one because she assumed it would be shot down.
Honestly, I was kinda hoping he would be in protective custody. Mofos are retarded as hell and you never know what people will try just because he's Wayne.

When I tell you I have a SH*T LOAD of things just resting on the tip of my tongue, that's just what I mean. OMG!!! Soooo. In today's WTF news, singer D'Angelo was arrested in New York for solicitation. He was arrested after he offered an undercover policewoman $40 to give him a blow job! This is a sad, sad situation. Especially since back in his "How Does It Feel" days, he wouldn't have had to pay anything for a BJ... SMH! He supposedly is planning a comeback so Diva Dish is wishing him luck with that, his "Brown Sugar" album was the business back in the day.

This is not from the Oscars but it was too cute. I was looking for Oprah's introduction of Gabby Sidibe when they announced the nominees for "Best Leading Actress" (which I couldnt find)and found this old clip of her appearing on Ellen. I just HAD to post it, check it out!
I love how confident Gabby is... She's a cute big girl and her personality is beautiful. Even tho she didnt take home the Oscar for "Best Leading Actress", she gets a CONGRATS from DIVA DISH anyways. Coming from as she said "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday".. to the OSCARS is more than enough.

What happened was the director and I had a bad difference over the direction of the film that resulted in a lawsuit that has settled amicably out of court. But there have been all these events around the Oscars, and I wasn't invited to any of them. And he's not speaking to me. So we weren't even able to discuss ahead of the time who would be the one person allowed to speak if we won. And then, as I'm sure you saw, when we won, he raced up there to accept the award. And his mother took her cane and blocked me. So I couldn't get up there very fast.
Well damn, and folks try to pretend that folks only act up at "our" award shows LOL.

Oscar Night 2010
I hope you guys didn't miss the Oscars last night, cuz it was extremely motivating. At least for me it was. I had just gotten back into town from a long weekend in ATL. As soon as I walked through the door I had to start working on homework that was due in by 11 pm (its an online class), trying to watch the show and keep up with what was going on from with my Twitclick (my Twitter people). It's always inspirational to me when I see people being honored for their hard work, its great to see that it all eventually pays off. Anywho, lets check out some of the fashion and winners.
Monique took home the Oscar for "Best Supporting Actress" for her role in Precious. Man, I screamed like it was me winning LOL. You NEVER would have thought Monique from "The Parker's" would be winning an Oscar. It's so true that you NEVER know what our GOD has in store for you. CONGRATS MONIQUE!
LOVED Nicole Richie's dress. The gun metal color she's rocking, is hotness!
It's always amazing to me how grown Zoe Kravitz is. I remember when Lisa Bonet was carrying her and now she's at award shows looking like a little lady..
