This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL song... Although I think Willow can be a bit extra, I love that she seems to really love herself. In this society, it's hard for children (even adults sometimes) to feel like they belong and to really, really love themselves.

Willow Smith Signs With Roc Nation

Alrighty, I'm officially going on record as a Willow Smith fan, yeap.. I love her!!  She was on the Ryan Seacrest show talking about her new single Whip My Hair.  She seems like such a normal, intelligent 9 year old girl.  While she was there, JayZ called in and talked about what helped him decide to sign her to his label, Roc Nation.

That song is an absolute hit, you definitely wouldn't think it came from someone so young.  Will and Jada are (from the outside looking in) the bomb parents, and I like that they are allowing Jaden and Willow to pursue their passions.  Both of them are very talented and as long as they are guided correctly by their parents, they'll be fine. I don't think we'll have any Lindsey Lohan issues from them, LOL. Now, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO waiting on a live performance from Willow.  I know her mommy and daddy have been showing her what it takes to be a star! 

I SO love the Smith family!!

So y'all know I'm not a fan of Willow's style, but I can not and WILL not hate on her musical style.  I'm DIGGING the lil song ;).  She had me bopping like I was at the club or something LOL.  I would LOVE to see her perform this song live, I can see her killing it.  Now that I hear her music, I understand her choices in clothing a little more.  She's just a different 9 year old girl, I guess I have to respect that.  I still don't "like" it, but I do respect it.  Keep your eyes out for Willow ;).

The Smith Family Chills With Oprah

How in the hell did I miss this? Y'all know I love Will and Jada, so much so that they were my #2 couple in my top 10 couples countdown on Valentines Day. They recently visited my Aunt Oprah's Show (yes Oprah is my aunt in MY HEAD)to talk about their family business and how they keep it all together. Check it out.



Wheeeewww, I love it!! I was watchin television the other night when a preview for Jayden's new movie, "The Karate Kid" came on... It just made me smile. I love to see a beautiful black couple with a beautiful family and seeing them start their children on the right path. Not only do they seem to have great family values but Will and Jada are showing their children early how to achieve anything that they desire. Gotta love the Smith's!
