Bobbi Kristina Changing Her Name?
Oprah Winfrey And Bobbi Kristina Interview
I'm really glad to see that Krissi is doing well. I'll try to find the part of the interview when Oprah spoke with Gary and Pat Houston. I see why Pat was Whitney's closest friend, she was that REAL friend that everyone needs in their life.
UPDATE: Below is part of the interview with Gary and Pat Houston, Whitney's brother and sister-in-law. I'm still looking for the full interview.

Sneak Peek: The Houston Family On Oprah: The Next Chapter
According to TMZ, Bobbi Kristina stated to friends that "Oprah was loyal to my mom, and never did my mother wrong, or made her look bad. She always looked out for my mom.”
I'm sure Bobbi Kristina felt most comfortable with Oprah because of her mother's last interview with the talk show QUEEN. During that interview, Oprah asked some of the questions we all wanted to hear the answers to, but she never attacked Whitney (like some interviewers do). This is why Oprah always gets the exclusives, because people feel safe with her. I can't wait to see this interview. More Dish!

Whitney Houston Home Going Obituary... Full Program
On Saturday, February 11th the family of the legendary Whitney E. Houston held a private Home Going Celebration for their beloved "Nippy." While it was not open to the public, the family did however allow one camera in the building. That one camera was more than enough to show the world what a real celebration of life looks like. Ms. Cissy Houston put her baby to rest BEAUTIFULLY!! I was so glad that she took Whitney home and held the services in her original church. I think Whitney would have wanted it done just as it was.
The service was beautiful and so was the program. Check MORE DISH for the full program.

Aretha Franklin Speaks On Whitney Houston's Passing
Whitney's "Aunt Ree", Aretha Franklin spoke to TODAY about Whitney's death. Take a look at the interview below.
Since Whitney's death, I've watched several of her interviews and performances. It really hurt me to look at some of the recent videos, and it's no secret that "the voice" wasn't what it used to be. While speaking to TODAY, Aretha stated that she knew it hurt Whitney that she couldn't sing what (how) she wanted to and was used to. I know it had to have hurt her, because like I said... it hurt my feelings just watching it. There have been people making horrible comments about this legendary woman and it honestly ticks me off. One of the last songs she was heard singing was "Yes Jesus Loves Me", and it was obvious that she loved him too. So, who are we to judge? I've seen several posts about all the greats being in heaven ready to greet Whitney at the gate. If that's the case, I know they are all up there JAMMING.. and Whitney not only has "the voice" back, but she's hitting notes she didn't even know she could. More Dish!

Lil Kim Visits "Watch What Happens".. Talks Whitney Houston & Nicki Minaj
Lil Kim was in the studio of "Watch What Happens" and she seems like such a cool chick. Kim always goes overboard with her look, but she looked better than I've seen her look in a while.
Check out her funny story about meeting Whitney Houston.
That was too cute..
Anywho, you already know they weren't gonna miss the opportunity to hear her speak about Nicki Minaj. Check out what she had to say about Nicki and her recent Grammy performance below.

Whitney Houston's Friend/Alleged Lesbian Lover Writes A Letter About Their Relationship
I've been watching old interviews of Whitney and was reminded of those lesbian rumors surrounding her back in the day. Before she got with Bobby, Whitney's close friend Robyn Crawford served as her assistant. Just like they claim Rihanna's assistant is her lesbian lover these days, they made the same claims about Whitney back then. Robyn has never really spoken about her relationship with Whitney, until now. Check out an excerpt from her letter below.
She was nothing like the Whitney Houston she became but at the same time she was already there. She knew, and so did everyone around her. She was doing shows in Manhattan with her mother, and she'd change her clothes in the car and get on stage and do her thing. She hadn't signed her contract yet. But she was modeling for Wilhelmina because she was discovered on the street. She was walking in front of Carnegie Hall and someone walked up to her and said, "There's a modeling agency upstairs that's looking for someone just like you." She walked upstairs and they signed her. That's what it was like, that's what she gave off. She looked like an angel. When my mother first met her, she laughed and said, "You look like an angel, but I know you're not." And she wasn't. But she looked like one.
I don't think it was anything going on between them, but if it was, SO WHAT. Anywho, read the full letter here.

Monica & Brandy Speak On Whitney's Life & Legacy
I never even laid eyes on Whitney Houston in person, but her death has hit me hard. Both Monica and Brandy have ALWAYS talked about how much they idolized Whitney, so I know this was tough for them to deal with. I was just talking to my sister yesterday and mentioned that Monica is the closest thing to a Whitney this generation will get. In my Whitney tribute, I posted the "Shoop" video that they discussed. In it, Whitney spoke on how great of of a singer Monica was.
Just cause I'm slick nosey, I'm curious about what that letter said. If I were Brandy, I wouldn't share it with the world either.

Wendy Williams Breaks Down When Speaking On Whitney Houston's Passing... Jennifer Hudson's Whitney Tribute At The 54th Grammy Ceremony
Y'all know I love Wendy and this is the reason why. She is always sincere in everything she says and does.
Jennifer Hudson sang Whitney's I Will Always Love You at last nights Grammy Awards.
I know we were all expecting a tribute and I was honestly a little upset about it. We have to keep in mind that they only had 24 hours to prepare something. I just wish it hadn't been hyped up as a tribute when in actuality it was only a 3rd of one of her greatest hits. Besides that, Jennifer did an amazing job and I'm glad they chose her for the job.
Whitney Houston Death Details, Plus My Mini Tribute.. Rest In Love!!
I have ALWAYS loved me some Whitney Houston. You couldn't tell me I wasn't Whitney back in the day. She was beautiful and her voice always amazed me. Yesterday, an elementary school friend of mine posted a status on Facebook asking if anybody remembered when the twins (my sister and I) used to sing Whitney Houston songs on the playground and everybody used to crowd around. That brought back memories cuz like I said, I LOVED Whitney. Anytime somebody asked me to sing, I would break out in a Whitney song. Now that I'm older, I know better than to fool around with anything Whitney ever touched LOL.
I just wanted to take a minute and post some of my favorite Whitney songs and performances. Check MORE DISH to hear her angelic voice.
LOVEDDDDDDDDDDDD IT!!! And it was effortless.
When they showed this clip of her live Grammy performance from 1994 last night at the beginning of this years Grammys, I didn't think I would make it through the rest of the show. It broke me all the way down. This woman's voice, was beyond amazing!! And when she got to bouncing, I knew she would have me rocking. People can say what they want about this woman, but THIS is how I will always remember Ms. Whitney!! Rest In Love, we will ALWAYS LOVE YOU!! More Dish!

Ashanti Covers Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" & "I Will Always Love You"
0_o.... seriously, you just DON'T MESS WITH WHITNEY. Especially when you're Ashanti. Her voice has gotten much better and I have to give her props for that. But that just wasn't quite right. Honestly, "I Have Nothing" wasn't bad. That "I Will Always Love You" was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WRONG!!!
She gets an A for effort!! :)
