Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Today we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  His actual birthday is January 15th, but it's always observed on the third Monday of January each year.  I won't sit here and go through a full write up about Dr. King cuz we all know what he did and what he gave for us to live as we do today.  Dr. King paid the ultimate price for our freedom with his life, which was taken from him right here in Memphis, TN.  His most known speech "I Have A Dream" has been heard across the world.  However, most people have never heard it in full.  Check it out below, it's still a chilling speech.

Knowing where we came from and what people such as Dr. King did for us still amazes me. Especially since our people today seem so unappreciative of the rights those people fought so hard for us to have. A friend on FB posted a video from an episode of "The Boondocks" that showed what Dr. King might say today if he were still living. Check MORE DISH to see the clip.

Hmph, and people don't think that "our shows" speak the truth.
