Yesterday Monica released a statement announcing that she and her fiance Rocko have decided to separate. Y'all KNOW I loved them together so this seriously had me upset :-(... These two were #3 on my Valentine's Day Top 10 countdown. Check the statement that Monica released about their decision.
I know there were many rumors. And Sandra, I appreciate that you never dug into them for the sake of both our families. I am going to rest today & go back to work tomorrow. I am going to do what I have always done. Focus on my children, my family & my career. Rock was put under a lot of harsh scrutiny during our entire relationship and I’m sure that was not easy.
However at this point our focus is being great parents. He is a great father to his children and, continuing forward, that is my only concern. With every breath in our bodies we will make sure that they feel as little pain as possible And continue to have the lives they had before with no attention dedicated to our separation. I will not be speaking on the subject further unless it is with God whom I believe does everything with reason. I love my children and their father and I’m truly grateful for those that loved and supported us through the good and the bad throughout the years.
Ohhhhhhhhh, I could just cry. Reports were that the two seperated because Rocko was cheating. I remember seeing an interview where Monica was talking about how the groupies would get at Rocko, check it out (starting around 1:47).
Like I always say, I don't know ANYTHING about these folks business. I know men (and people in general) are gonna do what they do, BUT I really don't wanna believe he cheated. I've told the story before and I'll say it again, when he was here in Memphis I saw the groupies ALL OVER HIM. Rocko NEVER paid any of them any attention, that's when I really started loving their relationship. I greatly appreciated the amount of respect he showed Monica even when she wasn't present. The two have separated before and got back together so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it happens again. Whatever happens tho, I know how bad a breakup can hurt, and it's worse when children are involved. Keep ya head up Monica!!!!

I am sooooo sad about this. I really like them together. And I love Monica and how she is so dedicated to the children and family. I hope this is temporary and they can work it out. {tear} :(
