K.Michelle Interview (Part1) / Part 2 (Uncut) Coming Soon!

K.Michelle! If you don’t know this name now, you will soon and VERY soon! This Memphis native has been signed with Jive Records a little over a year now and is already putting her stamp on the industry. In her first year of being signed, she just finished touring with “The King of R&B” R.Kelly and is working on her debut album, Pain Medicine. The Ladies Make Some Noise Tour came through Memphis in October of last year but the tickets sold out so fast that I wasnt able to attend. When I asked around about K’s performance the responses were pretty much the same “that girl cut up.” Luckily, the tour came back to Memphis a second time in December and I definitely was not missing the chance to see her live. I contacted K.Michelle about an interview and it went down from there. Oh BTW, the day before our interview another blogsite posted a story claiming that K.Michelle was R.Kelly’s new boo! Of course I had to try and see what was up with that LOL. Just check her response at the 4:40 mark and you tell me what y’all think.

Hmmmmmmm, what y'all think about that LOL?

Anywho as you can see, we had a wonderful time kickin it back stage. This lady here is not only talented as hell (also writing her own music and playing the piano), but she is also PURE COMEDY, seriously! She will keep you entertained through and through. So after the interview she changed, we snapped a couple pics and then she hit the stage.

Now, lots of times the opening acts don’t keep the attention of the audience. Let me tell y’all, when K.Michelle hit the stage (with the same cup of Jack you see her with in the video) she brought us some real and raw entertainment. Not only did she hold her own as an opening act, but I’ll be the first to say that she could surely hold her own as a headliner.

Check MORE DISH for more about the show, pics & info on the UNCUT part to this interview ;-)

K.Michelle not only sang her azz off, she also kept the crowd laughing with her southern charm. After her show she went into the audience and signed autographs for those that were already fans, and the new ones she most definitely captured that night. Check out some of the pics.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire show, Pleasure P and Kelz both did their thing. Now, make sure TO CHECK BACK THIS FRIDAY for the UNCUT half of this interview. I PROMISE y’all don’t wanna miss that ish. We talk about other R&B chicks in the game and what inspired her song “Jump Right In” (my fave), HILARIOUS!

Here's a video for those that haven't heard her blow!!
